It's hard to find a Chinese restaurant that exceeds my expectations, but this experience did exactly that. The restaurant is clean, well decorated and the staff are super pleasant. Worth mentioning they have a great bar and it was nice to be able to chat there with one of the owners and learn the history of Tang's China House. When I asked by business partner what we should order in, he said ....”let’s make a bang and impress our guests, let’s order Tang’s”. I agreed. The food was exceptional, our team was excited and delighted! We had 7 people and ordered a dinner for six. There was so much food just about everyone also able to take something for lunch the next day!! Wow, long gone is the darkness...making way to a beauty new bar, fresh decor (thank you for keeping the Phoenix and Dragon!), love music for First Friday downtown, intriguing artwork and clean everything. The washroom have had a makeover too! There is an accessible washroom on the main floor for those that dislike the stairs! Food was delicious, hot and our server, Karen, was knowledgeable and full of great suggestions towards our wonderful meal. Excellent menu! Thank you for a great experience! “ I've always liked Tangs, but wow, what an upgrade! The food, which was already good, has improved dramatically. Every dish we tried was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. You can really tell the kitchen has stepped up its game. The Mongolian beef special was SO good. The service was excellent too. Server knew the menu and was very attentive. The bar area in particular is stunning now. Modern, stylish, and a perfect spot to unwind. If you haven't been to Tangs in a bit, check it out. ”
